President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a conference on the Prevention of Bullying at the White House in March of 2011. The conference focused on the many positive actions teens, school personnel, adults and community leaders have initiated across the United States to create safer school environments for all students. Over two years later, many school districts across the nation still see the effects of bullying in their communities. Today we are going to research the who, what, when, where, and why of bullying to get an idea of what we can do to help prevent it. Then we are going to use our new knowledge of bullying to create our own Anti-bullying posters using Discovery Education's Board Builder.
